A Kildare woman who passed recently has been remembered as “a great player and Chairperson” of Johnstownbridge Camogie.
Denise Farrell, Windmill Court, Johnstownbridge, Kildare passed away in her home surrounded by her loving family.
Denise passed away surrounded by her loving daughters, Amy and Caitlin, adoring parents, Liam and Ann, brother and sister Darren and Anne, sister-in-law Sandra and brother-in-law Michael, and her cherished nieces and nephews, Joy, Tara, Amber, Rachel, Abi and Tyler.
She will be dearly missed by her extended family, neighbours and friends.

Denise reposed at her home at 600 Windmill Court, Johnstown Bridge, A83YD88 on Monday, October 27 from 3 pm, concluding with prayers at 7 pm.
The removal from her home took place on Tuesday, October 28 at 11:45 to arrive at St Patrick's church, Johnstown Bridge at 12 noon for Requiem Mass, after which Denise was laid to rest in Kilshanroe cemetery.

Tributes paid to Denise on RIP.ie this week include: “Deepest sympathies to Amy, Caitlin, Liam, Ann, Darren and Anne on the sad passing of Denise from everyone in Johnstownbridge Camogie. Denise was both a great player and Chairperson in the club and made many great friends young and old in her years with us. She will be sadly missed by all.”
And: “Deepest sympathy to Liam, Ann, Denise's family and extended Farrell families on the passing of Denise. Thinking of you all at this sad time. May she Rest in Peace.”
While another mourner wrote: “Our sincere sympathy to the Farrell family at this very sad time.
May Denise rest in peace. Ar dheis Dé go raibh a h-anam dílis.”
And another added: “Deepest sympathies Amy, Caitlin, Ann, Darren, Liam and Ann on the sad passing of Denise . I will look back with very fond memories of our time together on the Parents Association and all the crack we had with our fundraising activities. Denise had a great sense of fun and no job was too big. The bed of heaven to her ..she will always be in our prayers. R.I.P. Denise. Thinking of you all...”
