Loving wife of the late Tom Cantwell. Devoted mother of Elaine, Dermot and Ciara.

She will be dearly missed by her family, daughter in law Kari, granddaughter Chloe, partners Iain and Jim, extended family, relatives and friends.

Daragh Connolly of Baltracey Cross, Donadea and late of Rathcoffey and Coill Dubh, Co. Kildare.

Daragh passed away peacefully, but unexpectedly, surrounded by his loving family at Naas General Hospital on Monday, December 1 2025.

Lovingly remembered by his devoted and cherished wife Ramona, adored son Oran, mother Rose, uncle Jimmy (Da), pre-deceased by his father Peter and his aunt Irene.

Sadly missed by his siblings Mary and Paul, father and mother-in-law John and Bella, sisters-in-laws, Colleen, Shirley, Linda and Ann-Marie, brothers-in-laws, nieces, nephews, extended family and many good friends.

Reposing at Oliver Reilly Funeral Home, Woods House, Clane, (W91YPX4) on Sunday (Dec. 7) from 3pm - 7pm.

Removal from his residence (family only) by Oliver Reilly Funeral Directors on Monday (Dec. 8) at approx. 10:30am to arrive at the Church of the Sacred Heart, Rathcoffey for 11am Funeral Mass, followed by burial in Mainham Cemetery, Clane.

Freida Hoare (née Kane)

The death has occurred of Freida Hoare (née Kane), Townspark, Athy, Kildare.

Freida Hoare (Née Kane), Townspark, Athy, Co. Kildare, passed away on November 29 2025, peacefully at home, surrounded by her loving family.

Predeceased by her husband John, parents Joe and May Kane, sister Nancy, brother-in-law Séan and mother-in-law Maggie Hoare.

Freida will be sadly missed by her loving daughter May and her loving son Noel, granddaughters Alanna and Leah, great-grandson Jayden, sons-in-law Ger and Kevin, her nephews and nieces Pat, Paul, Sandra, Michelle, Marie, Mag, Freida, Joseph, John, Eddie, Gerry and Pascal, her devoted friends Matt, Mary, Corky, Margaret and Nelly, extended family and neighbours.

May Freida Rest in Peace.

Freida will repose in Thompson’s Funeral Home, Chapel Hill, Mount Hawkins, Athy (R14 NX80) on Friday December 5 2025 from 5pm until the conclusion of Prayers at 7pm.

Removal from Thompson’s Funeral Home on Saturday morning at 10.45am to St. Michael’s Parish Church, Athy for Requiem Mass at 11am. Followed by burial after in St. Michael’s (New) Cemetery.

Mary Kennedy (née Daniels)

The death has occurred of Mary Kennedy (née Daniels), Tinageera, Kilnadeema, Loughrea, Galway / Newbridge, Kildare.

The death has occurred of Mary Kennedy (nee Daniels).

Mount Carmel Estate, Roseberry, Newbridge, Co Kildare.

Formerly of Tinageera, Kilnadeema, Loughrea, Co Galway.

Mary passed peacefully from this life in the wonderful care of the staff in Galway University Hospital on December 3 2025, surrounded by her loving family.

Predeceased by her parents John and Ellen, her husband PJ and her sister Patsy (Gilsenan).

Mary will be always loved and remembered by her sisters Ita (Gaffney UK) and Nuala (Broderick, Duniry), her brother-in-law Noel, her many nieces and nephews, members of the extended family, the staff and residents of The Holy Family Nursing Home, Killimor, her former colleagues in Naas General hospital and her neighbours and friends in Newbridge.

Mary will repose in Dignity Funeral Care, funeral home, Barrack Street, Loughrea (H62 DV76) on Friday 5th of December at 5.30pm with removal to St Dympna's Church, Kilnadeema at 7pm.

Requiem Mass for Mary will be celebrated on Saturday at 11am, after which Mary will be laid to rest with her beloved PJ in the adjoining cemetery.

Annmarie Alice McLoughlin (née Dunne)

The death has occurred of Annmarie Alice McLoughlin (née Dunne), Lakepoint Park and Annebrook House Hotel, Mullingar, Westmeath / Coolcarrigan, Kildare.

Annmarie Alice McLoughlin (née Dunne) Mullingar and formerly of Corduff House, Coolcarrigan, Co Kildare and Canberra, Australia.

It is with great sadness that we share the news of our dear Annmarie’s passing on December 3 (peacefully following an accident), surrounded by her loving family and friends and in the excellent care of the staff at ICU at the Midland Regional Hospital Mullingar.

Predeceased by her loved and deeply missed mother Glenda.

Forever loved by her adoring husband Keith. Sadly missed by her heartbroken father Berty, his partner Denise, her brothers David, Vinny and Seamie, her sisters Katie and Jessie, and her best buddy Butch. Deeply regretted by Keith’s parents, her loving in-laws, her cherished nieces and nephews, her relatives in Australia, extended family and her many gorgeous friends who meant so much to her.

Annmarie’s light will forever shine on.

Reposing at Gilsenan’s Funeral Home (N91 K660) on Friday, December 5 from 3pm concluding with prayers at 7pm.

Annmarie’s Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, December 6 at 11 am in the Cathedral of Christ the King and may be viewed on the live webcam below. Cremation will take place at Lakelands Crematorium Cavan (H12 RF78) at 3 pm.

In lieu of flowers and in Annmarie’s memory, donations to The Friends of Regional Hospital Mullingar would be greatly appreciated at Friends of Mullingar Hospital.
