Josephine Gallagher (née Kirwan)

The death has occurred of Josephine Gallagher (née Kirwan), Woodlands, Castledermot, Kildare.

Josephine Gallagher (Née Kirwan) Woodlands, Castledermot passed away peacefully surrounded by her family at Naas General Hospital on 10th September 2025.

Predeceased by her parents Patrick and Margaret, her brothers and sisters.

Josephine will be sadly missed by her husband P.J., son and daughters Joann, Eugene and Vanessa, grandchildren Erin, James, Sadie, Molly, son-in-law Patrick daughter-in-law Louise, brother Frank, sisters Maureen and Kathleen, sister-in-law Biddy, nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

Arriving to The Church of the Assumption, Castledermot on Monday September 22 2025 for 11am Requiem Mass, followed by committal service at 2.30pm in the Victorian Chapel Mt. Jerome, Harold's Cross D6W HY98.

Peacefully, September 12 2025, at home. Husband of the late Patricia (Trish). Tony will be sadly missed by his loving sons Christopher, Peter and David, daughter Caroline, son in law Johnny, grandchildren Carolyn, Joseph, Emma, Sean, Róisín, Molly and Jake, sister Josephine, brothers Christopher and David, brother in law Ed, sister in law Brigid, nieces, nephews, extended family, neighbours and friends.

May Tony Rest In Peace.

Reposing at his daughter Caroline's residence, (Eircode W91 KD52) on Wednesday (17th September) from 3pm concluding with prayers at 7pm.

Removal by Glennon's Funeral Directors on Thursday morning to arrive for requiem mass at 10am in St. Brigid’s Church, Kill, followed by burial at St. Corban’s Cemetery, Naas.

Edward (Eddie) O'Brien

The death has occurred of Edward (Eddie) O Brien, Mucklon, Johnstownbridge, Kildare / Enfield, Meath.

The death has occurred of Edward (Eddie) O Brien, Mucklon, Enfield, Co Kildare, September 14th 2025, peacefully surrounded by his loving family in the wonderful care of Connolly Hospital . Loving husband of Bridget and adored father of John and Mary.

Deeply regretted by his daughter in law Aoife, son in law Niall, his cherished grandchildren, Dylan, Shane, David, Saoirse and Caoimhe, brothers Liam and Daragh, aunts, nephews, relatives, neighbours and his many friends.

May Eddie Rest in Peace

Eddie will be reposing at his family home (A83 PC67) on Thursday from 4pm to 8pm with prayers at 7pm.

Mass of the Ressurection on Friday at 1.30 pm in the Church of the Holy Family Kilshanroe (A83 XW11) followed by burial afterwards in the adjoining Cemetery.

The Family would like to thank the team in Beaumount and St Luke's Hospitals for the care that was given to Eddie.

Mary O'Sullivan (née Murray)

The death has occurred of Mary O'Sullivan (née Murray), Celbridge, Kildare.

O’Sullivan, Mary Rosanna (née Murray), (Celbridge, Co. Kildare) September 16 2025.

Peacefully, surrounded by her loving family.

Remembered lovingly by her husband, Michael; her daughters, Niamh, Aoife, Cliona and Róisín; her sons, Colin, Daragh and Fintan; and a cherished granny of Aisling, Liam, Conor, Dónal, Cathal, Cormac, Tomáis, Ailbhe, Oscar, Clodagh, Annie, Ruadhan, Seán, Donnacha, Sam and Meidhbhín. Predeceased by her parents, Thomas and Peggy, and her sister, Angela. Sadly missed by her loving husband, sons, daughters, sisters, brothers, grandchildren, sons-in-law Martin, Barrie, Ronan and Barry, daughter-in-law Ciara, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.

Reposing at Elm Hall Nursing Home, Celbridge on Thursday evening (September 18th) between 5 pm and 7 pm. Removal on Friday morning (September 19th) to St. Patrick’s Church, Celbridge arriving for Funeral Mass at 12 noon followed by burial in Donacomper Cemetery.
