Finlay's has confirmed that Finlay Motor Group has taken over the premises of the former Ford dealership in Kilcock, operated until recently by Dermot Kelly Limited.
Finlay Motor Group have been in the motor business in the Kildare area for more than 80 years and currently operate franchises for Ford Cars, Ford Commercial Vehicles, Volvo Cars and Equi-Trek Horseboxes.
The Kelly Family have an equally long history in the Kildare motor business and had an excellent working relationship with Finlays for many years. “Dermot Kelly Limited built up a very large and loyal customer base over many years, we hope to continue to offer these customers an excellent level of service while also expanding our business to the entire north Kildare area” commented Gary Finlay, Sales Director.
Finlay Motor Group recently won the SIMI Franchise Dealer of the Year and the Kildare Chamber Best Business Award. “These awards are achieved through excellent customer service, professionalism, integrity and a strong and dedicated work ethic. We are delighted to have the opportunity to expand these Finlay business principals to the North Kildare area”,added Gary.
Finlay Motor Group recently opened their new Used Car Centre beside their showrooms at Newhall, Naas. This one-acre facility can display up to 100 used vehicles of all makes, shapes and prices. “Our new Used Car Centre was a huge step forward for us, it required significant investment but we are delighted with the facility and used vehicle sale are already well ahead of target, even at this early stage. This Used Car Centre and our expansion into Kilcock are the next stages in our continued effort to grow and develop our business, these are busy and exciting times for Finlay Motor Group” commented Mike Finlay, Managing Director.
