Naas Courthouse
An allegation that a man sexually assaulted a cousin in 2004 and between 2004 and 2012 was made at Naas District Court.
The man, aged in his mid 30s was arrested on September 24 and Sgt Gary Farrell said he made no reply to two counts.
Sgt Farrell told the court that the injured party was a male child aged 14-15 years.
He said one allegation related to oral sex performed by the defendant and second related to masturbation.
There was no State objection to bail, on condition that the defendant have no contact with the alleged injured party or any other State witnesses.

The judge granted free legal aid and adjourned the case to January 21.
The judge also imposed reporting restrictions on the case.
