Popular Netflix series reportedly filming at Kildare Village
The scene was kept under wraps
A popular Netflix series is reportedly being shot in Kildare Village Retail Outlet.
An anonymous source tipped off the Leinster Leader about the filming, and a separate source close to the scene claimed that it was part of the upcoming series of the smash-hit dark comedy / fantasy show ‘Wednesday’, which follows the escapades of a teenage Wednesday Addams from the Addams Family franchise.
However, these reports have yet to be confirmed.
It is understood that filming began early this morning down the right side of the outlet, while filming is due to wrap by 11.45am.
As witnessed firsthand by the Leader, filming was kept closely under wraps, and a member of staff on duty in the outlet explained that the filming was subject to secrecy due to legal reasons.
In addition, no outside photography was allowed, due to similar legal reasons.
Kildare Village Retail Outlet has been asked for comment about the filming.
