'Faye brought so much love and happiness' - GoFundMe set up after tragic death of young Kildare girl

11-year-old Faye Moore sadly passed away in December

A donation page has been set up online for the family of Faye Moore, an 11-year-old girl from Allenwood, Co Kildare, who tragically passed away in December due to complications from a rare genetic disorder.

The family, who have already raised €1,520 of the €6000 goal, say they were not prepared for the high costs of Faye's funeral expenses and are reaching out for anyone that may be able to help, however big or small the donation.

The GoFundMe page reads,

"Our beloved Faye recently passed on 07/12/2024.

"Faye was 11 years old when she passed away suddenly in her sleep. Faye had complex needs, a rare genetic disorder & epilepsy. Faye brought so much love & happiness to us all.

"She loved her music, books & her guitar & was always determined to try her best & never complained. Her smile was amazing, she wrote love with her smile & magic with her eyes.

"As Faye's family, we have started a funeral fundraiser to help cover the cost of Faye's funeral expenses. Our family was not prepared for the high cost of a funeral and during this difficult time, we are reaching out to the community for help.

"Faye is sadly missed by her Mam, Dad, sister, brother & all family members.

"It would mean a lot if you could share Faye's funeral fundraiser. Please consider donating, as any amount will truly help our family during this difficult time."
