Do you want to try your hand at some painting?
On Culture Night, members of the public are encouraged to create a large community canvas by replicating a section of an original painting by artist Cathy Callan in timed sessions.
All materials will be provided on the night and two participants can work with Cathy in each 10 minute session and explore the nature of painting techniques.
Seats will be provided for those who want to watch the fun of this ‘live’ painting session. Smaller works in acrylic inspired by the local environment and biodiversity will also be on view on the night. This event will take place in the Irish Wheelchair Association, Athy.
