Man allegedly stole from Naas, County Kildare, business

BOOK OF EVIDENCE DUE

A total of 46 separate theft charges were levelled against a man who allegedly stole from a Naas-based company.

Before Naas District Court on Thursday, January 26, was Stephen Hayes, with an address given as 3394 Bishopsland, Kildare town.

The 33-year-old was alleged to have stolen a total of €16,596 from the Choice retail outlet located at the Newhall Retail Park in Naas, on a number of dates between July 2021 and October 2021.

Judge Desmond Zaidan adjourned the case to May 25, where a book of evidence is due to be presented in the case.

He remanded Mr Hayes on continuing bail.
