The late Gerry Moorehouse
Tributes have been paid to a Newbridge, Kildare man “gone before his time.”
Gerry Moorehouse - Piercetown, Newbridge, Kildare / Enniscorthy, Wexford – passed peacefully on February 20 2026 at Naas Hospital, surrounded by his loving family.
Gerry is predeceased by his daughter Mary Teresa and father Luke. He will be sadly missed by his wife Alice, son Luke, daughter Leanne, son in law Andy, grandson Eddie, mother Mary, brothers, sisters, father in law Gerry, mother in law Nan, brothers and sisters in law, nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
May Gerry Rest In Peace.

Reposing at Glennon's Funeral Home, 32 Main Street, Newbridge on Sunday (February 22) from 3pm - 5pm with prayers at 4.30pm.
Reposing at Browne's Funeral Home, Enniscorthy on Monday (February 23) from 2pm with removal at 4pm to arrive at St. Aidan's Cathedral, Enniscorthy for prayers at 4.30pm.
Funeral Mass on Tuesday morning in St. Aidan's Cathedral, Enniscorthy at 10am, followed by burial in St. Stephen's cemetery, New Ross.

Tributes paid to Gerry on RIP.ie include: “We are so sorry to hear of Gerry's passing. Gone before his time. Sincere sympathy to Alice and all his family. May his kind soul rest in peace.”
And: “Sincere condolence to Alice, your children and your families on the passing of your husband and father. Your loss is great.”
While another mourner wrote: “So sorry for your loss Mrs Moorehouse. I met you in the lift several times over the past few weeks in Naas Hospital. May your beloved son now Rest In Peace.”
And another added: “R.I.P. Condolences to all the Moorehouse family, extended family & friends.”
