Two accused of assaulting man as he left well known Kildare night club - allegation

Two men who allegedly assaulted a man leaving a well-known Kildare nite club, appeared at Naas District Court.

Ryan Moriarity, 24, whose address was given as 15 The Crescent, Earlswood, Kill, was charged with assault causing harm on February 17, 2024, at Fairgreen Street, Naas.

Brian Elliott Cahill, 23, whose address was given as 17 Hunterswood, Sallins, was also charged with assault causing harm on February 17, 2024, at Fairgreen Street, Naas.

Sgt Mary Meade told the court it will be alleged that the injured party sustained a broken nose and “required several stitches.”

Sgt Meade also said the incident happened as the injured party exited One New Row in Naas.

Sgt Meade also said the injured party had severe jaw pain.

Judge Desmond Zaidan adjourned the case to September 2 for the preparation of a book of evidence.
