The late Therese (Reecie) Flynn (née Kinsella)
Tributes have been paid to a Kilcock, Co Kildare woman who has been fondly remembered as a 'lovely lady.'
Therese (Reecie) Flynn (née Kinsella) – Rochford Green Kilcock, Kildare / Meath - passed peacefully in the exceptional care of Connolly Hospital, Blanchardstown on January 27 2026, surrounded by her loving family.
Therese is predeceased by her loving husband Johnny, son Frank and grandson JC.
She was much loved by her children; Michael, John, Noeleen, Concepta, Seamus, Therese, Enda and Ruth, sons-in-law, daughters-in-law, sister Bridget, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, extended family, friends and neighbours.

Therese was reposing at William Ryan & Sons Funeral Home Church Street Kilcock, (W23 XC90 - entrance at Books & Gifts), on Thursday 29 from 4.00pm to 8.00pm.
Her funeral mass was held at 11.30am on Friday 30 in the Church of the Assumption Jordanstown, Enfield (A83 Y021) followed by burial in the adjoining cemetery.
Tributes paid to Therese on RIP.ie this week include: “Sincere condolences to Noeleen, Cepie and the Flynn family on the passing of Reecie. A lovely lady with a smile and word any time we’d meet. May she rest in peace.”
And: “Deepest sympathies to the Flynn Family at this very sad time. I pray that God will comfort you all as he welcomes Reecie to her new home in Heaven.”
While another mourner wrote: “Enda, Ruth, Therese and family. Our deepest condolence to you all. I have fond memories of your mom growing up. She was a not just a strong lady but one of class and kindness and patience and was always welcoming to me and my family. Our thoughts, love and prayers to you all.”
And another added: “I am so sorry for the loss of my granny Reecie, she was a very strong woman. Sending love to all family and friends, Reecie will never be forgotten.”
