The death has occurred of Fergus Casey, Celbridge, Kildare / Leixlip, Kildare.

Casey, Fergus (Celbridge, Co. Kildare and formerly of Leixlip, Co. Kildare) January 20 2026. Peacefully, surrounded by his loving family in the excellent care of the staff at the Hermitage Clinic.

Beloved husband of the late May and Margaret and much-loved father of Lylah, May, Greg and Dermot and a devoted grandfather of Alexander, Shelley, Tara, Ashley, Youssef, Anwar, Karim and Rami and an adored great-grandfather.

Sadly missed by his loving sons, daughters, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, sons-in-law, daughters-in-law, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, cousins, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends including Oscar the cat.

Reposing at Cunningham’s Funeral Home, Celbridge on Friday evening (January 23) between 5 pm and 7 pm.

Removal on Saturday morning (January 24) to the church of Our Lady’s Nativity, Leixlip arriving for Funeral Mass at 10 am followed by cremation in Newlands Cross Crematorium.

The death has occurred of Teresa Dunphy (née Dunne), Glanmire, Cork / Kildare.

DUNPHY (Glanmire, Cork and formerly of Kildare): On January 19 2026, peacefully, surrounded by her loving family and in the exceptional care of the doctors, nurses and staff of the Mercy University Hospital.

TERESA (née Dunne), cherished wife of Tom, adored mom to Liz, Sandra, Mary, Caroline, Thomas and Patrick, devoted Nana to Kyle, Kim, Claire, Seán, Niamh, Dan, Molly, Harry, Alex and Luke, and treasured great-grandmother to Cara and Caela, much loved mother-in-law to Katie, Ronan, Joe and Barry, and the late Pierce, dear sister of the late Millie, Betty, Tim, Tom and Paddy.

Sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her husband and family, nephews, nieces, neighbours and friends.

Reposing at Barry Bros. Funeral Home, Hazelwood, Glanmire on Wednesday (January 21) from 5.00pm from 6.00pm.

Requiem Mass at 2.00pm on Thursday (January 22) in St. Joseph’s Church, Springhill, Glanmire.

Funeral afterwards to Rathcooney Cemetery.

GALLAGHER Trina (Late of Maynooth, formerly of Clontarf and Santry) January 16 2026.

Passed peacefully but unexpectedly, surrounded by her loving family at Connolly Hospital, Blanchardstown.

Loving mother of Kathy, beloved daughter of the late Marie and Frank and beloved sister of Mary, Jacinta, Grace, Deirdre, Helen, Denise, Brenda, Paula, Eoin, and the late Gerard.

Sadly missed by her son-in-law Rob, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives, neighbours and friends (especially Steiff).

GUTHRIE, Barry (Celbridge, Co. Kildare and formerly of Castlebar, Co. Mayo) January 19 2026, peacefully, surrounded by his family and in the wonderful care of the staff at St. Claire’s Ward, Beaumont Hospital.

Beloved husband of Liz, dear father of Aaron and Stephen and adored grandfather of Amy, Michael and Caoimhe.

Predeceased by his parents Mickey and Marie. Sadly missed by his loving wife, sons, grandchildren, Aaron’s partner Hannah, Stephen’s partner Éilís, brothers Kieran and Cory, sisters Pamela and Sandra, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives and his wide circle of friends and work colleagues.

Formerly of Poppintree, Ballymun and Kildare Road, Crumlin.
Peacefully at Connolly Hospital, Blanchardstown.

Formerly of 65 Pairc Bhride, Athy, Co. Kildare. Predeceased by his parents Paddy and Mona Kelly and brothers Michael, Dom and Ger.

Timmy sadly passed away on the 20th of January after a short illness in the loving care of St. John of God.

The death has occurred of Sr. Fidelis O'Meara, Presentation Sisters, Kilcock, Kildare / Tipperary.

Sr. Fidelis O' Meara, formerly of North Tipperary and Presentation Convent, Kilcock, Co. Kildare, died peacefully at Tallaght University Hospital on January 20th 2026.

Pre-deceased by her loving parents John and Julie, her brothers Patrick, Jack, Bill and Mick, her sisters Chris and Sheila.

She will be very sadly missed by her Presentation Sisters, her sister Ciss, her nieces, nephews, grand nieces, grand nephews, extended family and friends.
