There were seven Kildare starters as Maynooth University reached the quarter-final stage of this year's Sigerson Cup with a 2-14 to 0-13 win over DkIT.
Maynooth's impressive performance throughout the team was aided to victory by some of their forwards from Kildare with Carbury's Eoin Cully ending as his side's second top-scorer with 1-1, behind Dunshaughlin star Conor Duke who had 1-3 to his name.
Celbridge forward Aaron Browne managed three points from five attempts on the night with Sallins' Luke Killian and James Harris (Castlemitchell) picking up one each.
The other Lilies involved were Cian Burke (Clane) between the sticks and Rob Fitzgerald (Naas) and Ryan Burke (Caragh) in the full-back line.
