Ann Connerney (née Lawlor)

The death has occurred of Ann Connerney (née Lawlor), Naas, Kildare.

Peacefully, surrounded by her loving family at Larchfield Park Nursing Home, Naas.

Predeceased by her sister Mary.

Beloved wife of Tommy and loving mam of Thomas, Maria and Jennifer.

Forever loved and sadly missed by her loving family, grandchildren Lucy, Amy, Maja, Liam, Kieran and Filip, daughter-in-law Edyta, son-in-law Rob, sisters, brothers, nieces, nephews, extended family, friends and neighbours.

May her gentle soul rest in peace.

Reposing at the George Mullins Funeral Home, Kilcullen Road, Naas (W91CD0K) on Monday January 12 from 5pm to 7pm with prayers at 6:30pm.

Funeral on Tuesday January 13 with Requiem Mass at 10am at The Church of Our Lady and Saint David, Naas followed by burial at St. Corban’s Cemetery, Naas.

Family flowers only please. Donations, in lieu, to the Alzheimer Society of Ireland.

Ann's family would like to express their sincere gratitude to the wonderful staff of Larchfield Park Nursing Home for the exceptional care given to Ann.

Peacefully, in the care of Connolly Hospital, Blanchardstown surrounded by his loving family and previously in the care of Maynooth Lodge, Maynooth, Co. Kildare.

Predeceased by his parents, John & Kathleen, sister Hannah, and brother Raymond. Kieran will be sadly missed by his brothers Sean, Eamonn and Liam, sisters Maureen and Bridie, sisters-in-law, brother-in-law, nieces, nephews, and his numerous friends and neighbours.

The death has occurred of Mary Kelly, Leixlip, Kildare / Newbridge, Galway.

KELLY, Mary (Leixlip, Co. Kildare and formerly of Ballinacor, Newbridge, Co. Galway).

Passed away peacefully, at home, on January 10 2026, surrounded by her loving family. Predeceased by her parents Andy and Kate. Beloved wife of Phelim and much loved mam of Darragh and Sean. Lovingly remembered and sadly missed by her husband, sons, and their partners Catherine and Kellie, brothers Mike, Tom and PJ, sisters Eileen and Bridie, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended family, friends and neighbours.

May she rest in peace.

Reposing at her residence on Tuesday evening (January 13) between 5pm and 7pm.

Removal on Wednesday morning (January 14) to the Church of St. Charles Borromeo, Confey arriving for Funeral Mass at 10am followed by burial in Confey Cemetery.

Patrick (Paudie) O'Sullivan

The death has occurred of Patrick (Paudie) O’Sullivan, Coill Dubh, Kildare.

O’Sullivan, Patrick (Paudie), Coill Dubh, Naas, Co. Kildare and late of Coill Dubh AFC, January 11 2026, peacefully surrounded by his loving family in the excellent care of the staff of Tallaght University Hospital.

Predeceased by his mother Lil, father John, brothers Jimmy and Willie and sister Mag. Sadly missed and fondly remembered by his life partner Barbara, adored sons Patrick and Michael, daughter Kelly, their partners Megan, Frances and Trevor, cherished grandchildren Darragh, Ciara, Macaela, Willow and Penny, brother John, sister Hannah, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended family and many good friends.

The death has occurred of Joe Carey, Moorefield Drive, Newbridge, Kildare.

CAREY Joe (Moorefield Drive, Newbridge, Co Kildare) - January 10 2026 (peacefully) in the wonderful care of the palliative care team in The Beacon Hospital after a short illness.

Sadly missed by his adoring wife Nan, sons and daughters Seán, Méabh, Damian, Áine, Aiveen and Eimear, sons-in-law Malcolm and Eamonn, daughter-in-law Bernadette, grandchildren Eoin, Niall, Lórcan and Dianaimh and their partners Emer and Nick, nieces and nephews, extended family, wonderful neighbours, relatives and friends.

May Joe rest in peace.

Reposing at Anderson & Leahy's Funeral Home, Henry Street, Newbridge from 3.30pm on Monday with prayers at 7pm.

Passed away peacefully on January 9 2026, at home, surrounded by his loving family. Predeceased by his sister Mary. Beloved husband of Ann and much loved dad of Gemma, Sharon, Laurence, Michelle, Annmarie, Darren, Rachel, Jason and Jenny.

Lovingly remembered and sadly missed by his wife and children, his 17 grandchildren, great-granddaughter, sons-in-law Aidan, John, Mark and Denis, Laurence’s partner Abina, Jason’s partner Sarah, Annmarie’s partner Gary, brothers Finbarr, Oliver and Tom, nieces, nephews, extended family, friends and neighbours.

Kieran McComish, (“Tich”) — late of Greystones, Co. Wicklow and Castledermot, Co. Kildare — passed away peacefully, surrounded by his loving family, on Friday, January 9 2026.

Predeceased by his parents Jack and Doris, and his brothers Mick and Colm. Kieran will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his partner Susan and her family, his son Rob, daughter Suzy and their mother Dee, Rob’s partner Duffy; Suzy’s husband Brian; his adored grandchildren Frankie and Orlaith, his brother Terry and sister Brenda, sister-in-law Christine and brother-in-law Des, his nieces and nephews, extended family, and friends.

Reposing at Thomas Murphy and Sons Funeral Home, Boghall Road, Bray (A98 R673) on Monday, 12th January, from 5.00pm to 7.00pm. A Celebration of Kieran’s Life will take place on Tuesday, 13th January, at 12.00 noon in the Funeral Home, followed by a committal service at 1.45pm in the Victorian Chapel, Mount Jerome Crematorium.
