RIP: 'Cherished neighbour' from Kildare who passed recently

Tributes have poured in following the passing of Celbridge, Kildare man, Tony Cunningham, Thornhill Heights, who passed suddenly at his residence on December 13 last.

Tony is predeceased by his parents Una and Sean. He is deeply loved and sadly missed by his loving wife Sally, his daughter Maeve and son Sean, their partners James and Sinead, his beloved and adored grandchildren Sadie and Leo, sister Niamh, brothers John and Colm, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

"Hush, tiptoe past that final fond embrace,

'Cause after all you never know,

When you next will see that smile."

May Tony Rest In Peace.

Tony will be reposing at Oliver Reilly's Funeral Home, Leinster St., Maynooth, (W23V99E) on Thursday (Dec. 18) from 5pm - 8pm.

A Celebration of Life service will take place at Oliver Reilly's Funeral Home, Leinster St., Maynooth, (W23V99E) on Friday (Dec. 19) at 10:30am to 11:15am, followed by cremation in Newlands Cross Crematorium at approx. 12 noon.

Tributes paid to Tony on RIP.ie include: “Our sincerest condolences, may God give you strength at this very difficult time. Tony was a cherished neighbour who will be greatly missed by many in Thornhill.”

And: “I was so sad to hear of Tony’s sudden passing. Have very fond memories of him from our time as neighbours in Thornhill Heights. Always enjoyed his company and chats. Sally, thinking of you, Maeve, Sean and extended family. Words can’t ease his loss however know you are in my thoughts. Rest in Peace Tony.”

While another mourner wrote: “So sorry to hear the devastating news of Tony’ passing. Thinking of you, Sally, Maeve and Sean, and the extended Cunningham and Durack families at this distressing time. Rest in peace Tony.”

And another added: “Deepest condolences to Sally, Maeve and Sean on sudden passing of Tony. My sincere sympathy also to Tonys siblings John, Colm, Niamh and the extended Cunningham family. Thinking of all of you at this difficult time. May he rest in peace.”
