Rehearsals are underway for the Big C Choir's upcoming performances at the Moat Theatre on Sunday 27 October.
On Sunday of the October Bank Holiday weekend, the choir will stage two performances at 2pm and 7pm.
Under the musical direction of Owen C Lynch, the choir will perform unique choral arrangements of popular songs from the world of stage, screen and beyond.
Some of the songs which will feature in the performances include 'He Ain’t Heavy', 'Song Sung Blue', 'Hello Dolly', 'What I Did For Love', 'Moon River', 'Danny Boy', 'We’ll Meet Again', 'Will You Go Lassie', 'Scarborough Fair' and many more.
Founded in 2009 by Christina O'Connell, the Big C Choir fundraises tirelessly for Cancer Research, Care Groups/Units and to date the choir has raised €136,000.
