Daniel Flynn early goal for Johnstownbridge against Eadetown in the SFC pre quarter-final at Cedral St Conleth's Park, this afternoon
Johnstownbridge had their expected win over Eadestown to advance to the quarter-final of the SFC but it was a far from impressive display from the winners who led at the break 1-7 to 0-3, the goal coming from Daniel Flynn on nine minutes.
In fairness Eadestown did show a fair bit of improvement, a couple of two-pointers cut the lead back to three but that was as good as it got, despite Johnstownbridge scoring a mere two points in the seocnd half, and at that they were two frees from the boot of Paul Cribbin.
Final score: Johnstownbridge 1-9 Eadestown 0-8.
