Gardaí investigating a fatal road crash in County Louth earlier this year have arrested a woman.
Arthur Daly, 64, from The Salting, Annagassan, County Louth died at the scene of the collision which happened close to the village of Dunleer - midway between Dundalk and Drogheda - shortly before 9am on July 14.

The father of two adult children, who was originally from Howth in County Dublin, was the driver of one of the two cars which collided with each other.

At the time, numerous tributes were paid, with many people describing Arthur as a "true gent" and a "great sportsman".

Following the incident, gardai stated the driver of the second car, a female aged in her 50s, was airlifted from the scene to the Mater Misericordiae University Hospital in Dublin, where she was treated for serious injuries.
