LATEST: Man accused of 'serious assault' in Kildare to appear before Naas District Court

A man accused of carrying out a 'serious assault' in County Kildare is due to appear before Naas District Court.

A garda spokesperson explained: "The man (20s) who was arrested in connection with the investigation into an alleged assault in Naas, County Kildare on March 15 last has been charged.

"He is due to appear before Naas District Court on March 18, 2026 at 10.30am."

The spokesperson added that investigations are ongoing.
