My name is Mollie O’Brien, I am 22 years old and hail from Ballymena in Co. Antrim. I am privileged to be representing my County as the 2023 Antrim Rose. I am currently in my fourth year studying Dentistry at Queen’s University in Belfast. I love the challenge of working and learning about the modern methods of dentistry and training under professionals in each speciality. In my spare time, I enjoy playing Gaelic football for my local club All Saints and coaching children at Cúl Camp. I am an Irish dancer and have danced competitively since the age of 4. I also love walks in the beautiful Glens of Antrim. I enjoy volunteering to support local charities like SVP to give back to my local community and Friends for Romania charity, which I visited in 2018. I am an outgoing and fun-loving person and enjoy socialising and making new friends. In the future, I would love to travel and to experience various cultures throughout the world. I look forward to the Rose of Tralee International Festival to have the experience of a lifetime and meet the other Roses who are all inspiring young women.
