One of the exhibits at the forthcoming Environmental  Exhibition will be a collage of a fish whose shiny scales are made entirely  from old CDs.

Michele Lenehan , a member of Naas Art Group and a teacher in St Mary's Junior School, Blessington, made the collage with pupils from the school.

As well as old CDs gathered from around the school, tin foil from school lunches, old art catalogues, straws and styrofoam packaging were used to depict the underwater scene.

The exhibition is open between 10am and 5pm with late opening on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday to 8pm.
