Kildare Sports Partnership is preparing for a collaboration with a yoga master to celebrate International Women's Day 2026.
'Rise – A Yoga Event in Honour of International Women’s Day 2026', will be held in association with yoga teacher Tara Thompson.
It follows after Ms Thompson held a St Brigid-inspired yoga event earlier this month.
Speaking ahead of the event, Ms Thompson said that attendees can expect "trauma-informed yoga suitable for all levels", followed by "a deeply restorative Yoga Nidra guided meditation".
'Rise – A Yoga Event in Honour of International Women’s Day 2026' will take place at Balanced Bodies Holistic Centre in Newbridge on Sunday, March 8, 2026.
The event will be consist of two sessions: 11.30am to 1.30pm and 2.30pm to 4.30pm.
