A Kildare animal shelter has shared a heart warming story of a lucky pup who has been rescued by a loving family.
Kildare and West Wicklow SPCA, KWWSPCA, located in Athgarvan are delighted to announce that Poppy has successfully secured a forever home.
The KWWSPCA post on Facebook said, "This very happy family arrived at our shelter to complete the adoption of pretty Poppy and take her home to begin her new life with them.
"We thank Poppy's Fosterer for caring for her in her early days and we wish Poppy and her new family every happiness".
