As each day passes, the anticipation for Christmas only intensifies.

Given this undeniable fact, anyone living in County Kildare (and surrounding areas) and who is looking to purchase gifts for loved ones will likely be glad to hear that Tír na nÓg's annual Christmas market is returning to South Kildare.

According to Tír na nÓg, which is an Athy-based organisation which runs a childcare facility, members of the public are encouraged to "pop along" to the market.

Tír na nÓg also said that attendees can expect "festive fun" at the market.

In addition, Tír na nÓg said: "If you like to have a stall on the day, please email info@tirnanogathy.ie."

This Christmas market will take place in Athy Rugby Club on Friday December 5, 2025.

It will begin at 2pm and conclude at 7pm.

And that's not all - other Christmas markets are due to take place in Clane and Rathangan soon.
