A migrant integration fund is set to benefit two community groups based in County Kildare.
The two groups will share almost €19,000 in government funding to assist migrant integration projects for next year.
The support comes under the 2025 Integration Fund, which was announced by the Minister of State for Migration, Colm Brophy.
The first project to receive funding is the Griese Youth Theatre in Ballitore, which will receive €10,000 for its "Beyond Borders: Let’s Create Together" initiative.
And the second project to receive funding is the Monasterevin Blueway Kayaking Club, which is being awarded €8,640 for its "Bridging Waters" project.

According to the Department of Justice, Home Affairs and Migration, a total of €3.6 million will be made available to 117 not-for-profit, civil society and community-based organisations for integration based projects.
Grants of up to €100,000 will be allocated to the successful organisations.
Speaking from a project based in Wexford, Minister of State Brophy said: "I am delighted to announce the list of successful local groups who will receive funding from the Integration fund today.
"The Integration Fund has been established for local community groups and civil society organisations who have been working tirelessly to promote and further integration within Irish society."
He added: "Carrying out this work in an increasingly divisive world deserves to be recognised and commended; it is only through greater understanding and working together as local groups that we can improve integration and make Ireland a better and more tolerant country to live in for everyone."
