It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas...

A well-known County Kildare hotel is preparing to host a Christmas market next weekend.

The event is being organised by candle maker Liga Alekse, with help from her husband, and will take place in The Westgrove Hotel in Clane.

The event follows on from a similar Christmas market which Liga organised last year, and which also took place in Clane.

When asked what guests can expect from this market, Liga said that they will see "a variety of crafts, handmade items and art from local people".

She added: "There will be over 40 tables indoors and outdoor, with many makers showcase their Christmas-themed decorations and handmade cards, along with candles, jewellery, cakes, face painting".

Liga also said that local musical group, the Clane Ukulele Strummers, will play a gig at the market.

"We are looking forward to have another great day again," she asserted. "Don't miss out to get authentic gifts made with love from local crafters."

Liga's Christmas market will take place on November 23, 2025.

It will begin at 11am and conclude at 4pm.

Anyone seeking further information about this event can email Liga on christmasmarketclane@gmail.com.
