A garda based in County Kildare has made an appeal for information relating to a fatal road traffic collision which occurred last weekend.
It was initially reported that gardaí had begun investigating the collision, which occurred on the N7 motorway eastbound, at Kill, on the afternoon of Saturday, November 1 last.
Specifically, the collision occurred between junction 8 and junction 7 eastbound on the N7 motorway and involved a bus and a pedestrian.
A male pedestrian, aged in his 30s was seriously injured and taken to Tallaght University Hospital, but later passed away as a result of the collision.
It was also reported that the male driver (aged in his 30s) of the bus was uninjured and that two passengers received non-life threatening injuries.
And now, an appeal has been made by Garda John Joe O'Connell today (November 5), in which he is calling on anyone with information about the incident to contact gardaí.
Specifically, Gda O'Connell, who appeared as a guest on a KFM programme, told host Hannah Kelly that anyone with information, "no matter how small it may be", can contact Naas Garda Station on 045 884 300.
