The status of the Rathangan Master Plan was queried by a Kildare county councillor.
Social Democrats Cllr Pat Balfe asked Kildare County Council (KCC) for an update on the Master Plan at the latest Kildare-Newbridge Municipal District meeting.
In response to Cllr Balfe's question, KCC said via the report it presented at the meeting, which took place on Wednesday, October 15 last: "Currently, there are five project proposals finalised, and we are working on a further three for intervention in Rathangan.
"We estimate completion of project proposals for the Rathangan Town Master Plan will take approximately seven weeks."
KCC further said: "The final Draft will then be submitted to Senior Management Team for approval after which a public consultation event will take place to present the Draft Rathangan Town Master Plan."
Cllr Balfe told KCC that he accepted the report.
