A power outage has been reported near the Kildare-Offaly border, according to the Electricity Supply Board (ESB).
Speaking directly to customers: the ESB explained that the fault is currently affecting an estimated 162 customers in Edenderry.
"We apologise for the loss of supply," the ESB added. "We are currently working to repair a fault affecting your premises and will restore power as quickly as possible."
It was first reported at around 9.23am this morning (October 17).
Power is expected to return to the affected region at around 12.30pm today.
