Camphill Dunshane in Kildare marking 40th anniversary with fun-filled open day

Camphill Dunshane in Brannockstown, Co. Kildare, will celebrate its 40th anniversary with a special Open Day on Thursday, October 23rd, 2025, from 12 noon to 4pm.

Camphill Dunshane in Brannockstown, Co. Kildare, will celebrate its 40th anniversary with a special Open Day on Thursday, October 23rd, 2025, from 12 noon to 4pm.

The event promises a fun-filled afternoon for all ages, featuring a BBQ with meal deals, live music and performances by the Dunshane Drama Group, and a lively stallholder market showcasing crafts made by the Our Day Supports group.

Visitors can also enjoy sports games and take part in a raffle with fantastic prizes up for grabs. Meal deals, including a burger or hot dog and a drink, will be available for just €5.

The Open Day marks four decades of Camphill Dunshane’s work in supporting people with intellectual disabilities and creating an inclusive community through education, creativity, and shared living.

Admission is free, and everyone is welcome to attend. All proceeds from the day will go towards supporting Camphill Dunshane’s ongoing work in the local community.
