Heavy delays have been reported this morning on Kildare's M7, due to a serious multi-vehicle collision.
Numerous vehicles are reportedly involved, and as at 8.20am two lanes on the M7 were blocked.
Traffic was building back to J12 Newbridge at this time, with a queue starting on the M9 also.
Motorists are advised to use Newbridge for diversion on the M7 and Kilcullen for diversion on the M9.
Heavy mist and drizzle has been reported in the area.

A Garda spokesperson said of the incident: "Gardaí and emergency services attended the scene of a road traffic collision on Wednesday October 15th 2005 on the M7 between junctions 10 and 11 at approximately 8:00am.
"No life threatening injuries were reported at the time."
UPDATE: As of approximately 10.30am, reports have come in that the incident on the M7 has been cleared.
