Five people are being treated on trolleys at Naas Hospital today, having been admitted through the accident and emergency department.

Beaumont Hospital and Connolly Hospital Blanchardstown (four and one patient respectively) have less overcrowding - as as Tallaght Hospital where there are no no patients on trolleys.

There are no patients on trolleys at Tullamore Hospital and the figure for Portlaoise Hospital is eight.
