Kildare County Council has announced a vibrant programme of almost 70 cultural events taking place across County Kildare for Culture Night 2025 which will take place on Friday, 19 September 2025 from 4pm till late.
Kildare County Council’s Arts Service has provided grant support to a number of exciting public-facing projects, across art forms and across the county for Culture Night 2025, including live music, performance, poetry and even a public art bus tour!
Culture Night is an annual island-wide public event, a national moment, that shines a light on all aspects of culture, creativity and the arts. It seeks to actively promote the belief that this rich and varied culture is alive, treasured and nurtured in people’s lives, today and every day.
The programme is delivered in cities, towns, villages and rural locations as well as online and through Culture Night’s media partners. Doors open from 4pm till late, with special and unique events at participating locations.
All activities are available to the public free of charge and allow audiences the opportunity to celebrate and fully engage with a variety of cultural activities.
Each year, thousands of groups and individuals participate in Culture Night the length and breadth of Kildare. Over the last few months we have been delighted to receive applications, from all over the County, from those who want to share their talent, culture, creativity and interests on Friday, 19 September.
This year’s programme showcases the diversity of arts and culture in Kildare and offers a programme that fosters openness and encourages participation, valuing equality, inclusion, accessibility and diversity. One Night for All!
