A total of five new dwellings have been proposed for a South Kildare housing estate.

Masonbrook Holdings Limited has submitted a planning permission application to Kildare County Council (KCC) for the new units, which would be located in Brocan Wood, Cowpasture, Monasterevin.

It follows after the company applied for permission from KCC back in June to construct 24 homes in the Ferns Bridge region of Monasterevin.

The following month, Masonbrook Holdings Ltd proposed a three-storey block of apartments for the same region.

According to the description of this latest application, the five dwellings would be comprised of two two-storey, semi-detached houses and three two- storey, two and four bed terraced houses.
