A property developer has applied for planning permission for 24 new homes at Ferns Bridge, Monasterevin, Co Kildare (W34 VF72.)
According to Construction Information Services (CIS), Masonbrook Holdings Limited submitted a planning application to Kildare County Council on June 17 2025 (planning ref. 2560658.)
The proposed scheme consists of a residential development of 24 houses comprising 14 two and three-bed terraced houses and 10 one-bed apartments and three-bed duplex units in one three-storey block.
Vehicular access to the development will be from Ferns Avenue to the north, which is located off R414 Oldgrange Road to the east and internal roads in the overall Ferns Bridge development.
The proposed development also includes for all associated site development works, public open spaces, landscaping and boundary treatments, car & bicycle parking, bin storage etc. on an overall site area of c. 0.71 hectares.
The architect leading the project is Davey & Smith Architect.
