Uisce Éireann (UE) has released an update relating to night works which aim to remedy water issues in one County Kildare region.
The update was shared online by Labour Party TD Mark Wall, who represents Kildare South, and relates to an area located within the town of Newbridge.
He prefaced the statement from UE by claiming: "I have again raised the issue of water pressure in the Ballymany Manor area with UE.
"My office is in constant contact with UE to ensure that this matter is resolved and I will continue to update residents."
The statement from UE, which was given to Deputy Wall, reads as follows: "UE are aware of poor pressure and supply difficulties in the Ballymany area. This is due to high demand and current capacity constraints.
"Installing a pump would more than likely not work in Ballymany and could make the situation worse."

The organisation also said: "There may have been a misunderstanding with Hawkfield, where a pump has been installed and has resolved issues there.
"UE conducted site investigations on the distribution (smaller) network but further investigation on the trunk (larger)network feeding this area are underway."
According to UE, the investigation involves a camera survey of a 500mm AC pipe, which was initially carried out on August 26 last.
The organisation further explained: "Further camera surveys are required and planned for September 3 [2025] to determine if there are unknown restrictions on this pipe.
"This work will have to be done at night to minimise disruption to customers.
"Rehabilitation and upgrade works are also underway to improve reliability in the area."
UE also claimed that it has engaged with "larger customers in the area to minimise the impact of their usage".
Concluding its statement, UE said that it "acknowledges and apologises for the inconvenience caused".
Earlier this year, the Leinster Leader reported on water issues affecting different areas in Newbridge.
