A child and parent jewellery making workshop is due to take place in one South Kildare region.

The event is being hosted by The Yurt in Kilmead, near Athy (R14 KF70) and is aimed at children aged between 5 and 13 years of age.

According to the organisers: "Our intention for the day is to create a space for you and your child to enjoy some meaningful one to one time together before going back to school.

"Time away from other siblings, time away from screens, workload and from our daily routines."

They continued: "There are limited spaces for this event as we like it to be an intimate experience for all involved!

"The fee is €90 for both of you, including the bracelets, light refreshments and booking fee."

Those interested in attending can text 086 171 5257 or message The Yurt's official Facebook or Instagram profiles in order to secure a place at the workshop.

In addition, it will feature yoga and mindful breathing sessions.

This event will take place on Friday, August 22, 2025 and will run from 11am until 2pm.
