Naas man Jamie Osborne scored two tries in a standout performance for the British & Irish Lions as they beat the First Nations & Pasifika XV by 24 to 19 at Marvel Stadium in Melbourne.

The Kildare man was only called into the squad a little more than a week out from the first test. He repaid coach Andy Farrell's faith in starting him for this game almost instantly with a try after seven minutes to give his side the lead. You can watch it HERE.

Osborne struck again in the 45th minute of the game after finding space out wide and once again put his team ahead with the game level at 14-14 before his crucial contribution.

Darcy Graham and Duhan van der Merwe also crossed for tries, while First Nations & Pasifika XV scored three of their own through Triston Reilly, Seru Uru and Rob Leota.

All in all, it was an exceptional outing for the Naas man who stood out in an uneven Lions performance.
