A power fault has been reported at a village located in South Kildare.

The Electricity Supply Board (ESB) has said today (June 23) via its official PowerCheck website that the fault has occurred in Kilkea.

According to the organisation, it is estimated to be affecting 65 residents, and the estimated restore time is listed as 3pm today.

"We apologise for the loss of supply," the ESB said. "We are currently working to repair a fault affecting your premises and will restore power as quickly as possible."
