Naas Tidy Towns volunteers
The Naas Tidy Towns group is fundraising for a new van.
Judging for the competition started on June 15.

The voluntary organisation is well regarded locally for the amount of cleaning, sweeping, planting and washing undertaken around the town.
They are everywhere to be seen in Naas.
They bought a van for €600 about six years ago and while it has given great service, the cost of maintaining the vehicle now exceeds its value.
Volunteers use their own family cars at the moment but this is not an ideal scenario because of the amount of work to be done moving tools, plants and rubbish.
NTT acknowledges that local residents have been extremely generous already but a new van is needed.
They have contacted local car dealers to encourage them to come on board with the initiative.
They are on the way to reaching the fundraising target of €10,000.
