Fancy becoming the next Daft Punk, Calvin Harris, Timbaland or David Guetta?
If so, you may be in luck, as a DJ workshop is coming to County Kildare as part of Cruinniú na nÓg 2025, which is a national day of free creativity for children and young people under 18 that comes from the Creative Ireland Programme’s Creative Youth Plan.
Hosted by The Party DJ and aimed at those aged between 12 and 18 years of age, the event will teach attendees: deck layout; beat composition; beat matching; mixing techniques; and looping and effects.
It should be noted that places are limited for this workshop, which is being held in association with Foróige and is also supported by RTÉ.
The workshop will take place on Saturday, June 7, 2025 at Foróige, Rosconnell Community Centre in Newbridge. It will run from 12pm to 1.30pm and 2pm to 3.30pm.
