An Garda Síochána now hiring for civilian job with salary up to €73,000
An Garda Síochána are now accepting applications for a civilian role within the organisation as they are seeking a Strategic Stakeholder Communications Manager, which is the equivalent to a Higher Executive Officer.
It is a full-time and permanent role, although the first year is subject to probation.
The job will be located in the Garda Headquarters in Phoenix Park in Dublin.
The role also comes with an impressive salary scale, starting off at €58,264 and reaching up to €73,378.
The job itself involves supporting Garda Senior Management by providing detailed research on topical issues and upcoming events, developing speeches, informing briefing material, analysis of media and politics, report writing and more.

To do this, candidates must have a minimum National Framework of Qualifications Level 7 in a relevant qualification in communications, journalism, public relations, public affairs, marketing or a similar discipline or candidates must be able to demonstrate at least four years relevant experience working in any of these fields.
Other desirable criteria listed in the job posting includes experience working in a public affairs role, proficiency in the Irish language and a full clean category B driving licence.
The closing date for applications is Tuesday, 3 June at 3pm.
