The Kildare and West-Wicklow Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (KWWSPCA) is seeking new volunteers to join its dog shelter.
The announcement comes after an article published yesterday (May 14) by the Leinster Leader reported that the KWWSPCA would be holding a Lego-themed fundraiser in Newbridge Town Hall.
Based between Athgarvan and Two Mile House, the KWWSPCA is an animal shelter and charity which specialises in helping dogs, cats and other animals.
According to the KWWSPCA's official Facebook page, it is seeking volunteers "who are over 18 years of age, with own transport and who can commit to a definite regular shift every week".
"Job satisfaction guaranteed by lots of doggy cuddles," the KWWSPCA added.
Anyone interested in joining the KWWSPCA is asked to apply online at http://kwwspca.ie/volunteer.
