Assistance should be provided to students to help them grow food.

Newbridge councillor Noel Heavey wants Kildare County Council  to “identity scheme opportunities” to help support secondary schools students and communities to “learn how to produce food.”

He wants the cultivation of  food plants in schools, home gardens and allotments throughout our county to be supported by KCC.
