Major new residential development approved for Kildare town

Oakway Homes has secured planning permission to build 25 units at a residential development at Millview Demesne, Rathangan, Co Kildare.

According to Construction Information Services (CIS), a decision to grant planning permission was issued by Kildare County Council on 11/3/2025 for a development at Millview Demesne, Rathangan R51 RR72, Co. Kildare.

The development consists of the following units: eight Type B semi-detached two-storey four-bed dwellings; six Type C semi-detached two-storey three bed dwellings; two Type E1 mid-terrace two -storey three-bed dwellings; two type E2 end terrace two-storey three-bed dwellings; two Type H1 ground floor one-bed maisonette; two Type H2 two-storey two-bed duplex maisonette; one Type K end terrace two-storey two-bed dwelling; one type K1 mid terrace two-storey two-bed dwelling; and one Type K2 end terrace two-storey two bed dwelling.

Access will be through the existing Millview Demesne housing development (previously granted planning permission 18517, 201464, 2360229).

The development includes internal access roads and footpaths, foul & surface water sewers to connect to existing public sewers, boundary treatments, landscaping and all ancillary site services.

KBM Architects Limited are in charge of the plans.
