The 2 Johnnies have named a road out of a Kildare town among the worst in Ireland.

The comedy duo have travelled the country playing gigs for the last decade and they named the roads from Portarlington to Rhode in Co Offaly among the worst, with Johnny Smacks saying, "they wouldn't be hectic."

Elsewhere, they said the Rathangan to Edenderry road between Kildare and Offaly was also among the worst they've seen, Johnny B said: "That's good bog road now that's up and down; that's Disneyland spec - like Space Mountain."

However, a village in Kildare was pinpointed as having the worst roads in Ireland.

"We did a gig in Carbury one time. There's no road in Tipperary that bad. You're as well off getting a helicopter into town," Johnny B said.

Johnny Smacks added: "In the early days, we drove to all those kind of areas doing gigs and stuff like that, but I always remember Carbury in Kildare as having the worst roads of all-time."
