A fantastic night was had by all at the launch night of Brigid 2025 at Naas Cultural Centre on Wednesday, November 13.

After the resounding success of the Brigid 1500 programme last year, which brought nearly 80,000 visitors to Kildare, Kildare County Council is thrilled to announce the internationally recognised festival will return for 2025.
This year’s festival promises a bigger, bolder, and more vibrant experience as it brings together performances, cultural events, and immersive celebrations that honour the enduring spirit of the saint.

Brigid 2025, Spirit of Kildare will take place from January 24 – February 3 and will commemorate St Brigid through the theme “Her Spirit, Our Story”.
The festival continues to highlight the values St Brigid championed, such as spirituality, peace, sustainability, arts and culture, social justice, hospitality, and education, and their relevance in the world today.
Artists confirmed to take part across the festival include Mary Coughlan, Orla Gartland, Una Healy, Lemoncello, Lisa O’Neill, and Megan O’Neill with many more to be announced.
