An incident of theft from a person occurred in Newbridge town over the weekend.
Gardaí told the Leinster Leader that the incident took place at approximately 10.04am on Sunday, November 20, in Pairc Mhuire.
No injuries were reported.
Gardaí added that, at present, no arrests have been made, and 'investigations are ongoing.'
