Serious accident in Monasterevin


Gardaí in Kildare are investigating a serious road traffic collision that occurred in Monasterevin, on Tuesday, November 15, 2016.

The collision between a motorcyclist and an articulated truck occurred at 1.10pm on the Dublin road, Monastervin. The male motorcyclist (31 years) was seriously injured and taken to Tallaght hospital where his injuries are described as serious. The male lorry driver(32 years) was uninjured in the collision.

The road was closed for a number of hours to facilitate a Forensic collision examination but re-opened at 7.30pm, on Tuesday evening.
